The history of Valadouro
A return to the origins
I was born from a land steeped in history, in a small village in the Douro called Espinhosa do Douro. This is where my roots live, where my ancestors built their lives, generation after generation, in the heart of the mountains, surrounded by ancient olive trees and vineyards shaped by time.
My grandparents never left this village. My parents took a different path, first to Lisbon, then to France. I joined them very young, without ever really leaving Portugal, which is so dear to my heart.
In France, I grew up with the desire to undertake and to build. There I founded a group in the field of beauty, an intense human adventure that taught me a lot.

But the appeal of the origins remained strong. Going back to my roots became obvious. I then chose to invest in this village where I was born, by giving life to several houses, respecting their history and their soul, with the desire to bring them back to life. The project then expanded to Porto, with apartments designed with the same philosophy: to create places that were sincere, rooted, and open to sharing.
